Today’s image: a cherubim taken from a the painting “Education of the Virgin” by Italian Rococco painter Giambattista Tiepolo. He had a masterly technique in perspective, foreshortening and luminosity, as many of his paintings were in cathedrals where the viewers were forced to look upwards.
