Birthday card – pop up bunny

Hello! Today I’m sharing a pop up birthday card just finished for a little friend of ours. Since our son was born in the springtime, this time of year is especially busy for us parents since we now know a lot of kids his age, give or take a couple of months. For those of you who are thinking of having kids, be warned: the birthdays come fast and furious! While I’m not totally ready to commit to the whole nine yards with a themed birthday party, I have to admit that I am looking forward to celebrating bigger when our little guy gets older. Right now, he’s content to party with one balloon and a big cardboard box. (Hey, I’m not complaining!)

Anyway, about the card… This was done with watercolour on watercolour paper. I like the effect that the cutout letters on top create – gives a little bit more *pop* to the whole image!
